Here are quotes from letters Sarah has received about Walking with Frodo:

I'm a Christian teenage girl who writes all the time, wants to make Christian movies, and loved LOTR. Your book has been a great help to me, just in these last two days! I have found doing devotions a lot easier when I have something like your book. I remember what I read in the Bible in the morning much clearer, through the day. Thanks so much and God bless you!

We are meeting on Saturday evenings and watching short clips of the movies and discussing the corresponding material in your book. It has been so cool. We have just as many adults as teenagers! We have gotten into so much life application discussions on the themes and characters in your book. We are just blown away by how many Christian doctrines are between the lines in this incredible story. We are all determined when the study is complete to view the movies together in a new light. Thanks so much for creating such a great resource!

I have loved all of Tolkien's books since I read the first chapter of The Fellowship of the Ring by firelight several Christmases ago. I knew that Tolkien was a Christian and I talked hours on end with my mother about everything I found that could be related to our Christian walk. Needless to say I bought your book and carefully went through every chapter, answering all the questions and highlighting everything that drove home. I have always had trouble with keeping friends and right now is no exception. Many of the points you addressed in the devotion really opened my eyes and were a great encouragement to me! Thank you so much for taking the time to write something for Christian fantasy fans!

We have a very young youth group, and almost 100% of them are just the audience your book is perfect for:  LOTR junkies. One of our youth fellowship events in the past has consisted of going to my youth minister's house to watch the extended version of "The Two Towers". So when I found your book about a month ago, I knew immediately that it is perfect for our group. Reading it only confirmed that. Walking with Frodo was a real joy to read through, and I imagine will be a real blessing to teach.

It has been a pleasure to stumble across your new book! I have a small group of teenagers at church who have grown very tired of Philip Yancey, so we are turning to Tolkien. Even the most skeptical agnostic in the group is excited about this. I am excited that your book is available to help us!

Writing is like giving away the few loaves and fishes one has, in the
trust that they will multiply in the giving.
