I have loved all of Tolkien's books since I read the first chapter of The Fellowship of the Ring by firelight several Christmases ago. I knew that Tolkien was a Christian and I talked hours on end with my mother about everything I found that could be related to our Christian walk. Needless to say I bought your book and carefully went through every chapter, answering all the questions and highlighting everything that drove home. I have always had trouble with keeping friends and right now is no exception. Many of the points you addressed in the devotion really opened my eyes and were a great encouragement to me!
