May 2005 I’m finally surfacing after some massive deadlines and can now send along these fun updates from the world of Frodo, Bilbo, Edmund Pevensie, and Elizabeth Bennet (hmm, it’s getting crowded around here!).
Speaking of
Lewis, fans will want to mark their calendars for the third annual
Northern Michigan C. S. Lewis Festival this fall:

Even though I’ll be living in North Carolina by that time (my
husband starts his three-year MDiv program at Duke University
Divinity School), I’ll be back for the kick-off weekend Oct. 28-30
and for the Nov. 1 guest appearance of Douglas Gresham, stepson of
Lewis and co-producer of the Narnia film. I hope you’ll join us! Finally, I’d
like to toot the horn of my friend and fellow author, Kris
Rasmussen, who’s just published
My newsletters are pretty sporadic, so I'm thinking about creating a blog pretty soon. Meanwhile, feel free to sign up for my online book ►discussion group and post your thoughts. I enjoy hearing from you! Blessings,
