February 2006
Dear friends,

My apologies to all who've tried to visit my website or email me recently. I've been having web-hosting issues that will hopefully be resolved soon. In the meantime, please use the following address whenever sarah@saraharthur.com doesn't work: sarthurian@yahoo.com. Also, please visit my blog-site for updates on speaking and book-signing events: http://saraharthur.blogspot.com/. There's lots going on in North Carolina in February and March!

For those you looking for Lenten youth resources, now is a great time to take advantage of group discounts on my devotionals: $6.99 per book for 10 or more books, plus FREE shipping. Visit the group discount page for details. Keep in mind that Easter brings the DVD release of Walden Media's The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Fun!

As to other news, it's the winter writing season again, which means I'm working on some new projects for projected release in fall of 2007. The first is a resource for youth workers and pastors entitled The God-Hungry Imagination: The Art of Storytelling for Postmodern Youth Ministry (Upper Room Books). It's essentially my thesis on the role of the imagination in spiritual formation, born out of my studies in literature and my seven years' experience in fulltime youth ministry. Lots of work, but lots of fun!
The second project is a OneYear
youth devotional for Tyndale House Publishers' "thirsty?" line. I'll have updates on both projects posted on my website along the way. Prayers are appreciated!

Meanwhile, f
or those of you in North Carolina, here's where I'll be in the coming months for talks & book-signings (students and youth groups are welcome). Please note: All the book-signings include readings and Q&A, so the times posted are the actual event starting times.

Love,
