On a different note, we recently learned that my husband, Tom, has been offered a fellowship to attend Duke University Divinity School (100% of his tuition covered for all three years). We are simply in awe. Experiencing the joy and wonder of God’s unexpected grace makes me want to sob and sing arias and basically do all the same things that Mary and Simeon and the shepherds did when God’s grace came crashing into the timeline of history in the person of Jesus Christ (and my reason for joy is so small compared to the Incarnation!).
