Wardrobe Newsflash

Hurrah! My new devotional
Walking Through the Wardrobe: A Devotional Quest Into The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has been released. It's now available through my website (www.saraharthur.com) and wherever Christian books are sold.

I've also put together a fun 3-Book Special, just in time for those of you crazy people who do your Christmas shopping early (clearly, I don't fall into that category!). Here's the deal: Buy all three of my fantasy-related devos together (Walking with Frodo, Walking with Bilbo, and Walking through the Wardrobe), and receive free shipping. Interested? Click on the following link and scroll down to "3-Book Special":  http://www.saraharthur.com/order/index.htm.

Okay, and if you're wanting signed copies in person, here's where I'll be during the next two weeks:

October 28-Nov. 1: I'll be back to Petoskey, MI for the Northern Michigan C. S. Lewis Festival. This will include festival events, several school visits, as well as the following:

Friday, October 28:
Luncheon Q&A
on "C. S. Lewis & Children". Noon at Stafford's Perry Hotel in downtown Petoskey. Cost is $12. Reservations requested: (231) 347-4000. Books will be available ($10 each); all proceeds go to the Northern Michigan C. S. Lewis Festival.

Halloween Monday, October 31:
Narnia Costume Party & Book-signing at Promises & Praises Christian bookstore in downtown Petoskey. 6-9 p.m. Prizes awarded at 7:30 for best Narnian costume(s). Careful: The White Witch is a tough one to beat!

November 3-5: Speaking to teens, parents & youth leaders at the Gaither's annual
Praise Gathering in Indianapolis.

Don't forget, the national premiere of "Pride & Prejudice," starring Keira Knightley, is November 11 (bumped up from the 19th); and the premiere of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" is December 9th. Fun stuff!

Blessings,

Since it is so likely that [young people] will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights
and heroic courage.
