Greetings!

The October newsletter is here. Below you’ll find the most recent updates on the release of my first book, Walking with Frodo: A Devotional Journey through The Lord of the Rings ("thirsty?"/Tyndale).

The book is out! Yep, October 1^st was the big day, and as of the 6^th, Tyndale House Publishers is SOLD OUT and awaiting the shipment of the second printing. Check with your local Christian bookstore to see if their copies are in OR click ► here to order a signed copy.

Some updates on the website (►www.saraharthur.com) include a new layout; a list of current ►book-signings in Northern Michigan; articles for ►parents, youth ►workers, and ►skeptics; and some suggested ideas for using Walking with Frodo in ►small groups.

Look for a feature on The Lord of the Rings in the November/December issue of ►Relevant magazine: they interviewed yours truly and asked me to write an accompanying article. Their website will post yet another article of mine entitled "If Mrs. Tolkien had Written The Lord of the Rings." (►www.relevantmagazine.com)

Meanwhile, Tom and I are gearing up for the Petoskey Area C.S. Lewis Festival in November, for which he is the director. The month-long festival has developed into a truly unique collaboration between the arts, educational, and faith communities in our area, with lots of BIG events happening in this decidedly small town.
